Blue Button Process for GM Vehicles

  1. The driver will simply push the blue OnStar button on the rearview mirror, listen closely to the prompts, you may have to push a second time.
  2.  When connected to an OnStar Advisor, please request: "Please connect me to a Fleet Advisor."
  3. Upon transfer, state: "I am calling for Activation of my unit."
  4. The advisor will then place you on hold and initiate the activation of the vehicle, which may take a few minutes.
 ​

Remarks:

  1. The advisor may validate ownership of the vehicle.
  2. No subscription purchase is required.
  3. They may have you fill out some OnStar paperwork where you need to accept that your allowing data to be sent to CerebrumX / HD Fleet or your Vehicle Tracking Partners.
