Suntech ST4950 Installation

This guide will go over how to install the device in your vehicle.

Installation:

  1. You can power on and off the device using the provided MagKey. Make sure to reference the image below for placement.



    Action
    MagKey in Position
    LED Flash Pattern
    Turn Device On
    3 Seconds or Longer
    3 Red, then when GPRS: OK, 1 Blue
    Turn Device Off
    3 Seconds or Longer
    2 Blue, then 15 Red
    Check Status
    		~1 Second
    2 Red = Off | 2 Blue = On

  2. The battery may be low after shipping, so to ensure uninterrupted operation of the camera, charge it overnight using the provided power cables.



  3. The ST4950 can be quickly mounted using the Magnetic Cradle, as it snaps onto the bottom of the ST4950.
