This article will show you everything you need to install the AI-12, and how to do so.

Installation Steps:
Unpack the contents of your box.

Note
The SD and SIM cards are already installed in the dash cam.
Attach the mounting bracket to the camera, remove the 3M adhesive tape cover, and mount the camera to the windshield. Place the camera as high as possible. The glass must be clean and dry before attaching the mount.


Warning
Do not install the product in a location where it can obstruct the driver's field of vision.
- Connect the dash cam to a power source. It can only be connected by using the supplied USB cable, OBD cable, or hardware kit.
Run the power cable along the headliner of the car along the A-Pillar to the power source.
Option 1: OBD CableConnect to the OBD port in your vehicle.
Option 2: USB Cable
The power source should be able to supply 5V 2A.
Option 3: Hardwire Kit
Open the vehicle fuse box and connect as follows:

Red Color Wire - Goes to a constant power hot fuse. Do
not connect to a hot
ignition fuse, the dash cam will not work properly.
Black Color Wire - This is the
ground. Find a reliable metal iron location to attach the ground wire.
Directing the Cameras at the Road and the Driver:
- Unmount the camera.
- Using the screwdriver provided, partially unscrew the three security screws on the round side of the dash cam until you can rotate the front and cabin-facing cameras. Do not unscrew the screws all the way.

- Mount the camera and connect it to its power source.
- Tap the touchscreen and enter the default PIN of 3333 to enter the main menu.

- Click on Live View. You can use the arrow keys to switch camera views.

- Rotate the cameras until they are directed in the proper direction.

- Unmount it again and tighten the 3 security screws on the side of the camera.
Calibrating the Dash Cam Accelerometer:
- Turn on the ignition of the vehicle.
- Make sure that the dash cam is working.
- Make sure the vehicle is in park and on a level surface.
- Press the dash cam touchscreen and enter the default PIN of 3333.

- Press on Settings.

- Press Calibration. The calibration process will take about a second and once it is finished, the status changes from Not Done to Done.
