GPS Isn't Working or Is Spotty

Possible Symptoms:
  1. GNSS light is red on the box
  2. Coordinates when you look at the live feed or recorded video show up as dashes.

Troubleshooting Steps:
  1. Does your box have an antenna hooked up?
    If not, make certain that the External GPS Antenna setting is turned OFF. You can get to this by clicking into the vehicle and going to the Camera Event Settings tab. Click Edit, then slide it to the OFF position. Click Save.
    If so, make certain that the External GPS Antenna setting is turned ON. You can get to this by clicking into the vehicle and going to the Camera Event Settings tab. Click Edit, then slide it to the ON position. Click Save.



  2. Try a pin reset.

  3. Still having an issue?
    If you do not have an antenna hooked up and the External GPS Antenna setting is turned OFF, purchase and install an antenna. Once it's installed, please switch External GPS Antenna to ON. We recommend this one.
    If you already have an antenna hooked up and the External GPS Antenna setting is turned ON, contact support.
