Red Button Reset
A red button reset is similar to rebooting your PC. This resolves a great deal of issues.

This is only available on newer firmware (2.4.12 or later). If the camera has not had a firmware update or has been offline since approximately May 2025 or earlier, the following steps will not work.

How to Complete a Red Button Reset
- Locate the red button on the camera.
- Press and hold the red button for 25 seconds and then release.
