Information for Facial ID API
You have an opportunity to participate in a facial recognition verification service using biometric facial recognition software to assign drivers to vehicle trips. It is important to communicate to your drivers and any applicable employees/customers that the data collected with be exclusively used for the driver assignment and/or vehicle authorizations. Facial recognition is a technology that analyzes photos and videos to create a unique number called facial ID profiles.
Participation is optional. By opting in, you’re consenting to participate and have read the Facial Identification API documentation. You also agree this is an “add on” service that would be billed monthly based on the number of drivers that have a linked facial ID profile(s) added to them. There will be a minimum monthly price regardless of the quantity of matched drivers. There will be a 3-week trial to accommodate time for matching drivers to facial ID profiles for new accounts. Invoicing for the subscription services would take place after the 3-week trial period unless the service was disabled.
With your signature the company agrees to the following:
- The company using the Facial ID API service has been informed in oral and written form about the content and purpose of the collecting images
- The company and drivers understand the data being collected will provide information to extract biometric data, which later will be used to assign a unique facial ID profile to an image
- The drivers allow images of their face to be collected
- The company participating has been informed that they can request to withdraw their participation at any time without giving explanation and all biometric data collected from them will be deleted permanently
- The company participating has read and understand their roles and responsibilities in enabling the facial ID service
