Email and Alert Board alerts are sent once the conditions are met at midnight. For example, you want the PM task to move from scheduled to due at 1000 miles and then move from due to overdue at 1500 miles.
You would get an alert after the vehicle exceeds 1000 miles at midnight after the vehicle has traveled over 1000 miles. (Note: It will not happen when the vehicle hits 1001 miles immediately, but at midnight when the system detects that it exceeded the threshold thus reminding you that your maintenance tasks is due and should be taken in for it's scheduled task. The alert would then be sent again if the the task was not marked completed and exceeded the 1500 miles.
