How to Wake Up the Dash Cam

How to Wake Up the Dash Cam

Standby mode preserves the battery life of the dash cam, and also tells fleet managers when the vehicle is moving, and when it isn't. This ability is helpful for tracking and protecting the vehicle and any property that may be inside it.

The dash cam enters standby mode when no movement is detected. You can configure how long it takes for the camera to go into this mode. The standard is 10 minutes, but it can be changed up to 60 minutes after the vehicle has stopped moving.

Exiting Standby Mode:

  1. The dash cam exits standby mode when the motion sensor detects that the vehicle has begun to move. A strong jolt may also cause the vehicle to exit standby.

  2. Pressing the event trigger button takes it out of standby mode.
