How to Calibrate the AI-12 Dash Cam Accelerometer

This dash cam has sensors that detect risky driving events. You need to calibrate the sensors before using the dash cam.

You can only calibrate dash cams that are online.

Before you start, ensure that the vehicle is parked on a level surface.

To Calibrate the Accelerometer:

  1. Turn off the vehicle ignition.

  2. Check that the dash cam in turned on.

  3. Press the touchscreen of the dash cam to view the PIN screen.



  4. Enter the default PIN of 3333 to unlock the dash cam, or use your own pin if you have already set it up.

  5. Press Settings.



  6. Press Calibration.



    The calibration process takes about a second and once it is finished, the status changes from Not Done to Done.

    If you move the dash cam from one vehicle to another, you should recalibrate it.
